On the Art of Listening to Dogs (and Their Humans)

This grand opening had tails wagging — literally.

Earlier this month, we had the absolute joy of joining Chewy in Fort Worth to celebrate the launch of their brand-new Chewy VetCare location. Our job? Making custom pet tags for the very important dogs and cats (and their humans) in attendance.

Murphy was a good dog. But then again, all of them were.

Usually when we're on-site, guests love the live calligraphy activations — asking things like, “Did you do this by hand?” or “Wait, this wasn’t machine-made?” But this time, we got some very special feedback from the four-legged crowd (at least, that’s what we’d like to think).

We thought we’d translate a few of our favorite “comments” from the day for your reading pleasure:

  1. "RUFF! Ruffruffruff?" - Lola

(Translation: How did you do that with your paws?)

  2. "Arf! Ruuuff! Woooo!" - Max

(Translation: This is the best vet visit EVER.)

  3. "Grr... ruff? Sniff sniff. RUFF!" - Butters

(Translation: That tag smells like adventure. Let’s roll.)

We’re no dog whisperers, but one thing was clear — happy humans make for happy pups. And truthfully, we were the lucky ones. Spending the day “at work” surrounded by wagging tails, floppy ears, and furry friends of all kinds? That’s what we call a pretty pawfect assignment (yes, we went there).

Must love dogs? That’s us! If you feel the same, then we’re the perfect calligraphy match and we’d be doggone excited to support your next event (pun intended).
